Vaccine: PREVENAR 13 from Pfizer / USA

Indicated for intramuscular injection, It helps protect against 13 different serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae that cause pneumococcal disease such as pneumonia, meningitis, acute otitis media, blood infection…

Price: 1.280.000 VND/ dose (Including pre-injection screening fee)

Injection schedule by age:

Infants and toddlers from 6 weeks to 6 months old:
– 3 basic doses, 1 month apart

– 1 booster dose at least 2 months apart from the 3rd dose, usually between 11-15 months of age

Children from 7 months to 11 months old:
– 2 basic doses, 1 month apart

– 1 booster dose at least 2 months apart from 2nd dose , usually between 12 – 24 months of age

Children from 12 months – 23 months of age:
– 1 basic dose
– 1 booster dose at least 2 months apart from 1st dose

Children over 24 months old and adults up to 65 years old:
– A single dose
